parts of the spines were subject to wear from shingle
to exposed parts of the spines - ( base of the right hand smaller rear spine and the upper surface of the tip of the front larger spine ). The upper surface of the tip as been restored.
The barbs on the rear of this tip are original.

The stone slab had to be recovered in several pieces
and restored, The spines, other than the tip of the larger spine have not been restored.
